Untitled
A metallic glow outside, as the autumn sun
hits a green car (green means life),
and I sketch trees under our window sill...
Today, the lights went out in heaven,
then a beast of fear moved within many of us
with bleak vision, black nightmare.
Later, I lay in sorrow
my sailors jib at half mast
thinking once again that if men and women
cannot co-exist together
more peacefully our world will not survive.
In the yard now, the starlings chatter.
